The Barcelo San Jose in Costa Rica is a lovely hotel. We stayed on the fourth floor in a junior suite. There was a concert at the stadium, which is very close to the hotel, during our stay. The fireworks display from the concert could be seen from the balcony of our room. With two balconies, two bathrooms, a living room, and an eating area, the suite was stunning.
The first night, we ordered room service. The food was good, but I did not order room service for breakfast. We made use of the breakfast vouchers that came with the room. The food in the dining area was excellent, as was the coffee.
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a great spot for exploring the city, and I would definitely stay there again. Overall, I recommend this hotel because the views were spectacular, the room was beautiful, and the food in the dining room was delectable.
